HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1676BILL NO. 14 ORDINANCE NO. 1676 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FROM R -2 MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO C -2 COMMUNITY COM- MERCIAL AND DETERMINING THAT SAID CHANGE IN ZONING IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO; REPEALING ALL LAWS, ORDINANCES AND RESO- LUTIONS IN CONFLICT HERWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO: WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City of Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and following the public hearing procedures as required, that it is in the best interest of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that the property described as Lots 13 & 14, Block 5 of Washington Heights, Steunenberg and Hands Addition of Caldwell, Idaho, of record in the office of the Canyon County Recorder, Idaho, and including adjacent right of way to the centerline of 21st Avenue and Blaine Street and the alley said in Block 5 adjacent to said Lots 13 E 14 be rezoned, it is hereby ordained as follows: Section 1. That certain land described above is now zoned C -2 Community Commercial and shall be so changed from R -2 Medium Density Residential after the date of this Ordinance. Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Caldwell and the City Engin- eer of the City of Caldwell are hereby instructed to so designate the same above - described property on the official zoning map of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, as being C -2 Community Commercial Property. Section 3. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and annulled. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
