HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1671BILL N0, 8 ORDINANCE NO. 1671 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FROM R -3T MULTI - FAMILY HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO C -2T COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL AND DETERMINING THAT SAID CHANGE IN ZON- ING IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO;RF.PEALING ALL LAWS, ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO: WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City of Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, upon recommendation of the Planning and Zon- ing Commission of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and following the public hearing procedures as required, that it is in the best inter- est of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that the property described as Lots 19 -24, Block 48 of the Original Plat of Caldwell, Idaho, of record in the office of the Canyon County Recorder, Idaho, and Includ- ing adjacent right of way to the centerline of 9th Avenue, Elgin Street and the alley in Block 48 adjacent to said Lots 19 -24 be rezoned, it is hereby ordained as follows: Section 1. That certain land described above is now zoned R -2T Community Commercial and shall be so changed from R -3T Multi- family High Density Residential after the date of this Ordinance. Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Caldwell and the City Engineer of the City of Caldwell are hereby instructed to so desig- nate the same above - described property on the official zoning map of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, as being C -2T Community Commercial property. Section 3. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and annulled. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this 13th day of March 1984.
