HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1669BILL NO. 6 ORDINANCE NO. 1669 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FROM R -2(T) MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO R -3(T) MULTI - FAMILY HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND DETERMINING THAT SAID CHANGE IN ZONING IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY OF CALD- WELL, IDAHO; REPEALING ALL LAWS, ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALD- WELL, IDAHO: WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and following the public hearing procedures as required, that it is in the best interest of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and including adjacent right of way to the cen- terline of 14th Avenue, 16th Avenue, Elgin Street and to the South- westerly boundary of the Notus Canal right of way, it is hereby ordained as follows: Section 1. That certain land described above is now zoned R -3(T) Multi- family High Density Residential, and shall be so changed from R -2(T) Medium Density Residential after the date of this Ordi- nance. Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Caldwell and the City Engineer of the City of Caldwell are hereby instructed to so desig- nate the same above- described property on the official zoning map of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, as being R -3 Multi- family High Den- sity Residential property. Section 3. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and annulled. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
