ORDINANCE N0. 1663
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FROM R -1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO
R -3 MULTI- FAMILY HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND DETERMINING THAT
SAID CHANGE IN ZONING IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY OF CALD-
WELL, IDAHO; REPEALING ALL LAWS ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALD-
WELL, IDAHO:
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council of the
City of Caldwell, Idaho, upon recommendation of the Planning and
Zoning Commission of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and following
the public hearing procedures as required, that it is in the best
interest of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that the property described
as Lot 9, Block 1 of South Kimball Addition, excepting the East 13
feet, and including right of way adjacent to said Lot 9 to the cen-
terline of S. Kimball Avenue, it is hereby ordained as follows:
Section 1. That certain land described above is now zoned
R -3 Multi- family High Density Residential, and shall be so changed
from R -1 Single Family Residential after the date of this Ordinance.
Section 2. The City Clerk of the City of Caldwell and the
City Engineer of the City of Caldwell are hereby instructed to so
designate the same above - described property on the official zoning
map of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, as being R -3 Multi- family High
Density Residential property.
Section 3. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts thereof
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and annulled.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
