ORDINANCE NO. 1593
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FROM R -3 MULTI- FAMILY HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL
ZONE TO C -2 COMMUNITY COMMERCE ZONE AND DETERMINING THAT SAID CHANGE
IN ZONING IS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO:
REPEALING ALL LAWS, ORDINANCES, AND RESOIuUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL,
IDAHO:
WHEREAS, It has been determined by the City Council of the
City of Caldwell, Idaho, upon recommendation of the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that it is in the best
interests of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that certain property
described hereafter be rezoned, it is hereby ordained as follows:
Section 1. That certain lands described in Exhibit " A "
attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein, is now
zoned R -3 Multi- family High Density Residential Zone, and is located
within the City of Caldwell, Canyon County, State of Idaho, the Council
having previously annexed said lands to the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
Section 2. It is hereby declared by the Mayor and Council
of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that the tracts of lands described
in Exhibit "A ", a proper legal description, to be declared to be
C -2 Community Commerce Zone, and shall be so changed from R -3 Multi-
family High Density Residential Zone to C -2 Community Commerce Zone
after the date of this Ordinance.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Caldwell, and the
City Engineer of the City of Caldwell, are hereby instructed to so
designate the same above described property on the official zoning map
of the City of Caldwell, Idaho as being C -2 Community Commerce Zone
property.
Section 4. All ordinances, resolutions, order, or parts

thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and
annulled.
Section S. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this
3rd day of February , 1981.

EXHIBIT A
BEGINNING at the South corner of Block 1 of Blatchley Addition
To the City of Caldwell, Idaho, the plat of which is on file and
of record in the office of the Recorder of Canyon County, Idaho;
thence Southeasterly on the Southwesterly line extended of said
Block 1, 40.00 feet to the centerline of 22nd Avenue; thence North-
easterly along the centerline of 22nd Avenue to its intersection
with the centerline of Blaine Street; thence Northwesterly along
the centerline of Blaine Street to its intersection with the cen-
terline of 21st Avenue; thence Southwesterly along the centerline
of 21st Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Cleve-
land Boulevard; thence Southeasterly along the centerline of
Cleveland Boulevard to its intersection with the centerline of
22nd Avenue; thence Northeasterly along the centerline of 22nd
Avenue, 40.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
