ORDINANCE NO. 1567
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE V, CHAPTER 2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE CITY OF CALDWELL, STATE OF IDAHO, RELATING TO PLUMBING CODE BY
AMENDING SECTION 4 (A) RELATING TO SCHEDULE OF FEES; AND AMENDING
TITLE V, CHAPTER 4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL,
STATE OF IDAHO, RELATING TO GAS INSTALLATIONS BY AMENDING SECTION 8,
RELATING TO THE COST OF PERMIT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS,
ORDER OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL:
Section 1. That Section 4 (A), Chapter 2, Title V of the Municipal
Code of the City of Caldwell be amended as follows:
5 -2 -4: SCHEDULE OF FEES:
(A) For issuing each permit $1:99 $5.00
Fer- each- plxmbixg- fixttire -er- trap; - -or- set -ef
fixtures;- ineluding- water- and - drainage
piping- -:25-
For each building (house) sewer 1.00
For- repair- er- alteratien -of- drainage -er 1:99
Venting
For each lawn sprinkler system on any one meter,
including backflow protection devices

For each connection to public sewer system 1.00
Section 2. That Section 8, Chapter 4, Title V of the Municipal
Code of the City of Caldwell be amended as follows:
5 -4 -8: COST OF PERMIT: The applicant shall pay for each permit issued,
at the time of issuance, a permit fee of one- dollar- E$1:99) five
dollars ($5.00) plus an inspection fee in accordance with the
following schedule:
For Service Line to Building including Piping System in
Building $1.00
For each installed Commercial Range, Overn, Boiler, Broiler or
and Furnace $1.00

For each gas outlet in addition to any of the above $ 0.25
Any person who shall commence any gas fitting work for which a
permit is required by this Code without first having obtained a
permit therefor shall, if subsequently permitted to obtain a
permit, pay double the permit fee fixed by this Section for such
work, provided, however, that this provision shall not apply to
emergency work when it shall be proved to the satisfaction of the
Building Inspector.that such work was urgently necessary and that it
was not practical to obtain a permit therfor before the commencement
of the work. In all such cases a permit must be obtained as soon
as it is practical to do so, and if there be an unreasonable delay
in obtaining such permit, a double fee as herein provided shall be
charged.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according to law.
