AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 6, CHAPTER 3, SECTION 1(D) OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, STATE OF IDAHO,
RELATING TO SUPPLEMENTARY ZONING DISTRICT REGULATIONS BY
AMENDING SECTION 1 (D)4 BY ADDING CERTAIN LANGUAGE REGARDING
YARD AND SETBACK REQUIREMENT EXCEPTIONS WITH RESPECT TO
OUTBUILDINGS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDER
OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL:
Section 1. That Section 1(D)4, Chapter 3, Title 6 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Caldwell be amended to read as follows:
6 -3 -1: (D) 4. Outbuildings not used as dwellings and not exceeding
an area of six hundred (600) square feet are permitted in the
rear setback area with no building to be closer than four feet
(4') from a side property line or four feet (4') from a rear
property line when not on an alley. In the R -1 Residential
Zone, the heighth of an outbuilding not used as a dwelling shall
not exceed 15 feet except by special use permit
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval, and publication according to
law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this
