ORDINANCE NO. 1467

AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE SIDEWALK SPACE WITHIN THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1: That when new curbs are constructed or
replaced a level and unobstructed area consisting of hard
packed dirt, mowed grass, gravel or material approved by the
City Engineer of the City of Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho,
be maintained by the owner of the residence for a distance of
four (4) feet back from the back of the curb line and approxi-
mately level with the top of the curb. Where permanent public
utilities and irrigation facilities exist within the `four -foot
area, they shall be allowed to remain until replacement is
necessary after which they shall be moved back to clear the
four -foot public right of way.
