ORDINANCE NO 1425
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 3, SECTION 7 OF THE CITY
CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO; DELETING CERTAIN LANGUAGE
THEREIN AND PROVIDING NEW REGULATIONS FOR CONNECTION BY WATER
METERS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, ORDERS OR PARTS
THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Mayor and Council
of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, that more flexibility is required
in Title 3, Chapter 3, Section 7 of the City Code of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho, said code section is amended as follows:
3 -3 -7: CONNECTION BY METER: Each separate premises shall be
connected with the water mains through a meter, separate building
on the same lot, and /or under the same ownership, shall have a
separate meter.
Upon the recommendation of the City Engineer, the Council
may grant permission for a single meter to serve more than one
building on a premises, providing the premises remains under one
ownership by virtue of a recorded covenant. Appropriate reso-
lutions relating to water and sewer charges on multiple dwellings_
shall apply in all cases.
