ORDINANCE NO. 1424
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THAT ALL OCCUPIED BUILDINGS, BOTH BUSINESS
AND RESIDENTIAL, WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL,
IDAHO, HAVE CONSPICUOUS ADDRESS STREET NUMBERS AFFIXED TO SAID
BUILDINGS TO ENABLE PASSERSBY TO IDENTIFY THE STREET ADDRESS OF
SAID BUILDINGS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, OR ORDERS
OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
has ascertained that requiring street numbers to be affixed to all
occupied buildings will be of benefit to the general welfare of
the City of Caldwell, the following ordinance is created:
5 -1 -10: POSTING OF ADDRESS NUMBERS ON ALL OCCUPIED BUILDINGS:
All buildings within the city limits of the City of Caldwell, which
are occupied for residential or business purposes shall have
address numbers posted in a conspicuous place on the front of
said buildings so that said address numbers shall be visible to
passersby, and it shall be the duty of the owner or owners of said
buildings to cause conspicuous address numbers to be affixed to
said buildings.
