ORDINANCE NO. 1423
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE I, CHAPTER 20, SECTION 6 OF THE CITY
CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, DELETING CERTAIN LANGUATE
THEREIN; DETERMINING WHAT CONSTITUTES QUORUM FOR THE TRANSACTION
OF BUSINESS BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SPECIFYING THAT A QUESTION
BEFORE THE COUNCIL SHALL BE DECIDED BY A VOTE OF MAJORITY OF
MEMBERS PRESENT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:
That Title I, Chapter 20, Section 6 of the City Code of the
City of Caldwell, Idaho, is hereby amended as follows:

At all meetings of the Council, a majority of the full
Council shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business,
and on the final passage of any ordinance resolution, or other
order, the yeas and nays shall be called and recorded, and a
concurrence of a majority of the members of the Council present
shall be necessary to pass the same.
