AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT AND LEVY OF A TAX FOR
GENERAL REVENUE PURPOSES FOR PAYMENT OF THE CURRENT EXPENSES OF
THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE
FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 1976, AND ENDING THE 31st DAY OF DECEMBER,
1976, AND PROVIDING FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND TO ASSIST IN
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW LIBRARY BUILDING FOR CALDWELL PUBLIC
LIBRARY AS AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1257.
BE IT ORDAINED By the Mayor and Council of the City
of .Caldwell, Idaho:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby levied upon all the
taxable property within the City Limits of the City of Caldwell,
Canyon County, Idaho, for general revenue purposes for the fiscal
year beginning the first day of January, 1976, in addition to
other taxes heretofore levied, the following taxes and assess-
ments, to -wit:
For the General Fund ------------------ - - - - -- $ 784
For the Cemetery Fund ----------------- - - - - -- 27,360.00
For
the
Library Fund ------------------
- - - - -- 100,000.00
For
the
Street Fund -------------------
- - - - -- 109,440.00
For
the
Armory Fund -------------------
- - - - -- 9,125.00
Capital Improvement ------------------- - - - - -- 36,480.00
For the Recreation Fund --------------- - - - - -- 54,720.00
Bond and Interest --------------------- - - - - -- 13,680.00
For the Airport Fund ------------------ - - - - -- 18,240.00
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage, approval and publication.
