HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1313M NO. 24 ORDINANCE NO. 1313 BY COUNCILMAN Oamboa AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 1160 HERETOFORE ENACTED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO ON APRIL 23, 1969, BY REPEALING SECTION 11 OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 1160 AND BY.SUBSTITUTING A NEW SECTION 11 AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1160 heretofore enacted by the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho, be amended by deleting therefrom Section 11 of said Ordinance No. 1160 in its entirety. Section 2. That said Ordinance No. 1160 heretofore enacted by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho, on April 23, 1969, shall be further amended by adding thereto the following which shall be designat- ed as Section 11, to wit: Section 11. Rates and Fees of Subscribers Grantee shall be permitted to charge the following rates and fees for its services: BASIC RATES:. Single Residential T.V. or F.M. Service (Monthly) $ 5.95 Extra T.V. or F.M. Outlets, each (Monthly) .75 Installation 7.50 During construction period, a free connection and 30 days free service shall be offered to any resident in the service area. Additional Outlet Installation 7.50 Reconnect 5.00 Transfer Connection 5.00 Move Outlet 5.00 MISCELLANEOUS RATES Apartments - 100% paid by one billing - each unit (2) $ 4.75 Motel, Commercial, 1st outlet 5.95 Additional Outlets .95 CONVERTER DEPOSIT, each (1) 10.00 The above rate and fee schedule shall be maintained at the same rate and fee set forth herein until more than four (4) outside, independent signals are authorized by the Federal Communications Commission. When the Federal Communications Commission authorizes other independent signals for transmission by Grantee, in excess of four (4), Grantee has the option to increase its rate in the monthly service charge only in residential and commercial categories of 1.66% for each independent station authorized, up to a total maximum of six (6) new, independent stations. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. PASSED By the Council of the City of Caldwell, this 3rd day of December, 1973.
