ORDINANCE NO. 1298

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 11, CHAPTER 3, SECTION 5 (D) OF THE
CITY CODE OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO, BY
ADDING THERETO THE PROVISION THAT VEHICULAR TRAFFIC MAY ENTER
AN INTERSECTION TO MAKE THE MOVEMENT INDICATED BY AN ARROW OR
SIGN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON,. STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Title 11, Chapter 3, Section 5 (D) of
the City Code of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho, be
amended by deleting therefrom the said subsection (D), and substi-
tuting therefor the following which shall be designated as sub-
section (D), to wit:
(D) Red with green arrow or sign:
1. Vehicular traffic facing such signal may
cautiously enter the intersection only to make
the movement indicated by such arrow or sign but
shall yield the right -of -way to pedestrians law-
fully within a crosswalk and to other traffic
lawfully using the intersection.
2. No pedestrian facing such signal shall enter
the roadway until the green or "Go" is shown
alone unless authorized so to do by a pedestrian
"Walk signal."
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
