AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 4, CHAPTER 7, OF THE CITY CODE OF
CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO, BY AMENDING
SECTION 12 THEREOF BY ADDING THE DEFINITION OF BARTENDER AND
BY CHANGING THE AMOUNT OF PERMIT FEE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Title 4, Chapter 7, Section 12 of
the City Code of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho, be
amended by changing that portion of said Section 12 which reads
as follows: "a permit fee of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) ",
to read as follows, to wit: "a permit fee of five dollars ($5.00)."
Section 2. That said Title 4, Chapter 7, Section 12,
shall further be amended by adding thereto the following definition
of Bartender: "Bartender" means any person, whether agent,
servant, employee, licensee, or in any other capacity, who pours,
draws, opens or prepares any beer by the glass, bottle or can to
be consumed upon any licensed premises.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this
5th day of September, 1972.
