AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 9, CHAPTER 1, OF THE CITY CODE OF
CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO, BY ADDING THERETO
THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS WHICH SHALL BE DESIGNATED AS SECTIONS
59 and 60.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Title 9, Chapter 1, of the City Code
of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho, be amended by
adding thereto the following sections which shall be designated
as Sections 59 and 60 of said Title 9, Chapter 1, of the City
Code of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho:
9 -1 -59: LITTERING PUBLIC THOROUGHFARES PROHIBITED:
It shall be unlawful for any person to scatter or
throw upon the public thoroughfares any handbills,
posters, advertisements, papers, or any other refuse
or debris.
9 -1 -60: NO POSTING ON FENCES; TELEGRAPH POLES;
POWER POLES; TELEPHONE POLES; CONSENT FOR: It shall
be unlawful for any person to post, paint, tack or
otherwise attach any notice or other advertising matter
to any fence, wall, post, or building or other property
until first obtaining the consent of the owner of such
property. It shall be unlawful for any person to
post, paint, tack or otherwise attach any notices or
advertising matter to any telegraph, telephone,
electric or other poles. However, these provisions
shall not interfere or prevent the posting of notices
required by law to be posted.

Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
