ORDINANCE NO. 1230
BY COUNCILMAN MARTIN
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TITLE 5, CHAPTER 10, SECTION 10, OF THE
CITY CODE OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, COUNTY OF CANYON, STATE OF IDAHO:
Section 1. That Title 5, Chapter 10, Section 10,
of the City Code of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho,
be amended to read as follows, to wit:
Section 10. Area included: No provision of this
ordinance shall be construed to permit the use of
mobile homes or house trailers in locations other than
the areas described as follows:
PARCEL NO. 1:
South boundary shall be the centerline and the center-
line extended of the alley between Albany Street and
Belmont Street,
West boundary shall be the Boise River,
North boundary shall be the Notus Canal, and
East boundary shall be the center of blocks between
North Ninth Avenue and North Tenth Avenue.
PARCEL NO. 2:
BEGINNING at the center of Block 64 of the Original
Townsite of the City of Caldwell, Idaho; thence
Northeasterly along the center of the Blocks between
North Ninth Avenue and North Tenth Avenue to the
Southeasterly right -of -way line of Interstate SO
North Highway; thence in a Southeasterly direction
along said Highway right -of -way line to its inter-
section with the centerline of Franklin Road; thence
West along the centerline and the centerline extended
of Franklin Road to its intersection with the
Northeasterly line of the Union Pacific Railroad
right -of -way; thence Northwesterly along said rail-
road right -of -way line to the midpoint-between North
Ninth Avenue and North Tenth Avenue; thence North-
easterly to the Point of Beginning;
ALSO:
A strip of land 300 feet wide on each side of the
centerline of East Chicago Street from Franklin Road
to East Linden Street.

PARCEL N'O . 3:
All of the following described area within the
City Limits; The North boundary shall be the
centerline of Syringa Lane; the East boundary
shall be the centerline and the centerline extended
of South Florida Avenue; the Southwesterly boundary
shall be the Northeasterly right -of -way line of
Interstate 80 North Highway.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL of the City of Caldwell this
16th day of August, 1971.
APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the City of Caldwell this
