ORDINANCE NO. 1198
BY COUNCILMAN PANKS
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT AND LEVY OF A TAX FOR
GENERAL REVENUE PURPOSES FOR PAYMENT OF THE CURRENT EXPENSES OF
THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE
FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 1970, AND ENDING THE 31st day of DECEMBER,
1970.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City
of Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That there is hereby levied upon all the

taxable property within the City Limits of the City of Caldwell,
Canyon County, Idaho, for general revenue purposes for the fiscal
year beginning the first day of January, 1970, in addition to
other taxes heretofore levied, the following taxes and assess-
ments, to wit:
For the general fund. . . . . . . . . . . $228,692.02
For the street lighting, street sprink-
ling, oiling and flushing fund. . . . . . 179,966.68
For the fire fund . . . . . . . . . . . . 100,067.00
For the General Obligations Bonds
and Interest . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 9,625.71
For the library fund . . . . . . . . . . 43,787.80
For the armory fund . . . . . . . . . . . 1,643.48
For the cemetery fund . . . . . . . . . . 7,575.55
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage, approval and publication.
PASSED By the City Council this 8th day of September,
1970.

Ordinance No. 1.198 providing for the assessment and levy of a
tax for general revenue purposes for payment of the current
expenses of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, for the Fiscal Year
beginning the first day of January, 1970, and ending the 31st
day of December, 1970; and
I further certify and affirm that said Bill No. 15 ,
Ordinance No. 1198 , was duly passed by the City Council and
approved by the Mayor in regular meeting on the eighth day of
September, 1970.
