ORDINANCE NO. 1185

AN ORDINANCE MAKING MINOR CHANGES IN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CALD-
WELL MUNICIPAL IRRIGATION SYSTEM AND ADDING TO THAT SYSTEM THE
LAND COMPRISING BLOCK 6 AND BLOCK 7 OF THE THIRD PARKSIDE ADDITION
WHEREAS, The actual ditches of the Caldwell Municipal
Irrigation System in certain small particulars and the actual
lands being served by the Caldwell Municipal Irrigation System
vary in several small particulars with the boundaries as contain-
ed in a Resolution passed by the Council on the 4th day of
January, 1955, and approved by the Mayor on that same day; and
WHEREAS, It is desirable that the boundaries of the
district be altered to correct these conditions; and
WHEREAS, Added to the City of Caldwell has been Block 6
and Block 7 of Third Parkside Addition, comprising new land, which
land is not located within the Pioneer Irrigation District and has
no decreed water right; and
WHEREAS, Water to irrigate the lands being added from
Block 6 and Block 7 of Third Parkside Addition to the City of
Caldwell is available from a new existing well owned by the City
and an underground system to irrigate said lands has been establish-
ed; and
WHEREAS, It is desired that this system be made a part
of the Caldwell Municipal Irrigation System,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the exterior boundaries of the Caldwell
Municipal Irrigation System be altered so as to include ditches
of the system and all lands being served by said system and at
the same time the boundaries be extended to include that certain
tract of land known as Block 6 and Block 7 of Third Parkside

Addition to the City of Caldwell and that the exterior boundaries
of said system as altered and extended are as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of Linden Street and Indiana
Avenue at the Southeast corner of Section 27, Township 4
North, Range 3 West of the Boise Meridian; thence North
along Indiana Avenue to the centerline of Maple Street;
thence East to the centerline of Cleveland Boulevard;. thence
Northwesterly along Cleveland Boulevard to the centerline
of Ash Street extended; thence Northeasterly at right angles
to Cleveland Boulevard to the Northerly boundary of the
Union Pacific Railroad right -of -way; thence Northwesterly
along the Northerly boundary of the Union Pacific Railroad
right -of -way to the West Boundary of the Northeast Quarter
of the Northeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 4 North,
Range 3 West of the Boise Meridian; thence North to the
Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of said Section 27; thence East to the Southeast
corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 4 North,
Range 3 West of the Boise Meridian; thence North to the
Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 22; thence
West along the East and West centerline of Section 22 to the
intersection with the South boundary of Galveston Street;
thence Northwesterly to the intersection of Ninth Avenue;
thence Southwesterly along Ninth Avenue to the intersection
of Freeport Street; thence Northwesterly along Freeport
Street to the intersection of North Kimball Avenue; thence
Southwesterly along North Kimball Avenue to the intersection
of Elgin Street; thence Northwesterly along Elgin Street to
the intersection of Seventh Avenue; thence Southwesterly
along Seventh Avenue to the alley in Block 39, Original
Townsite of Caldwell; thence Northwesterly along said alley
to the intersection of Sixth Avenue; thence Southwesterly
along Sixth Avenue to the intersection of Belmont Street;
thence Northwesterly along Belmont Street to the intersection
of Fifth Avenue; thence Southwesterly along Fifth Avenue to
the intersection of Albany Street; thence Northwesterly along
Albany Street to the intersection of Fourth Avenue; thence
Southwesterly along Fourth Avenue to the Westerly corner of
Block 93, Original Townsite of Caldwell; thence Westerly along
the East and West centerline of Sections 22 and 21, Town-
ship 4 North, Range 3 West of the Boise Meridian, to the
Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of said Section 21; thence South along Paynter
Avenue to the South boundary of Laurel Street; thence West
on the South boundary of Laurel Street to the West boundary
of Sunset Avenue; thence South along the West boundary of
Sunset Avenue to the South boundary of Woodlawn Drive; thence
West along the South boundary of Woodlawn Drive to the East
boundary of Airport Avenue; thence South along the East
boundary of Airport Avenue to the alley one -half block South
of Palo Alto Drive; thence East along said alley to Paynter
Avenue; thence South along Paynter Avenue to the intersection
of Logan Street; thence East along Logan Street to the point
where the Dixie Drain crosses Logan Street; thence Southeasterly
and South along said Dixie Drain to the intersection of Linden
Street; thence East along Linden Street to the intersection
of Indiana Avenue, being the place of beginning, all of said
lands being in the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State
of Idaho.
