ORDINANCE NO. 1174
BY COUNCILMAN HARRISON
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 -2 -3 , PARAGRAPH (G) OF CHAPTER 2 OF
TITLE VI OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, PROVIDING
THAT NO BUILDING SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED UPON A LOT OR PARCEL OF LAND
WHICH DOES NOT ABUT UPON A PUBLIC STREET UNLESS A VARIANCE OF THIS
PROVISION BE GRANTED BY ACTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, AND PROVIDING
FOR THIS ORDINANCE TO BE IN FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS
PASSAGE AND PUBLICATION.

9 BE IT ORDAINED By the Mayor and Council of the City of
9 Caldwell, Idaho:
10 Section 1. That Section 6 -2 -3 of Chapter 2 of Title VI,
11 Paragraph (G) of the City Code of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, be
12 amended to read as follows:
13 "(G) No building shall be constructed upon a lot or
14 parcel of land which does not abut upon a public street unless a
15 variance of this provision be granted by action of the City Council."
16 Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
17 conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
18 Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in force and
19 effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
20 PASSED By the Council this 4th day of August, 1969
21 APPROVED By the Mayor this 4th day of August, 1969.
