BY COUNCILMAN DAVENPORT
AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 9-.1--58 OF CHAPTER 1, TITLE IX OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY
PERSON TO DRIVE A MOTOR VEHICLE, OR SNOW MOBILE, OR RIDE A MOTOR-
CYCLE, MOTOR BIKE OR BICYCLE UPON EITHER THE FAIRWAYS OR GREENS
OF THE FAIRVIEW AND PURPLE SAGE GOLF COURSES OF THE CITY OF CALD-
WELL, IDAHO, EXCEPTING AN AUTHORIZED GOLF CART ON THE FAIRWAYS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES AND REGULATIONS AS ESTABLISHED BY THE
GOLF BOARD CONTROL OF THE CITY, OR AUTHORIZED MAINTENANCE VEHICLES
AND EQUIPMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THIS ORDINANCE TO BE IN FORCE AND
EFFECT AFTER ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL AND PUBLICATION.
10 BE IT ORDAINED By the Mayor and Council of the City of
11 Caldwell, Idaho:
12 Section 1. That there is hereby added to Title IX,
13 Chapter 1 of the City Code of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, Section

z<Q 15 "9 ..1 -58: DRIVING OR RIDING ON GOLF COURSES. It shall
o:H 16 be unlawful for any person to drive a motor vehicle, a snow mobile
17 or ride a motorcycle, motor bike or bicycle upon the fairways or
0 18 greens of either the Fairview or Purple Sage Golf courses of the
19 City, excepting an authorized golf cart on the fairways in actor- -
20 dance with the rules and regulations as established by the Golf
21 Board Control of the City, or authorized maintenance vehicles and
22 equipment."
23 Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
24 effect from and after its approval, passage and publication.
25 PASSED By the Council of the City of Caldwell this 17th
26 day of March, 1969.
