shall'be assessed to defray the expenses of improvement herein provided,
shall be all of the lots or par6ols of land facing upon,00nteguous to or
tributary to and abutting upon any street mentioned in se ftie of -this
or-dinaroe points therain mentioned and shall be ass9zae for said

accrue 'by reason of the sprinkling of said streets or parts thereof inclu-
ded in said district: Provided,that the City Council may expend for such
,purposes such sums as in their Judgment may be -fair and equitable in ocn-
siderution of benefits accruidg to the general public by reason of such
improvement,over and above all expense which must be paid by the ity for
all such improvmants in the space formed where one street'terminates in.

SECTION 3. The general character of 'he improvement shall be the sprink-
ling of the streets within said distriat,with water from the City water
worYs,every day during the dry or dusty season of the year that the sprink-

shall act as such until their successors are appointe ard they are emp

this ordinance,have -power to contract, for sprinkling the streets viirithft

SECTION S. Whenever any expense or cost,,ol sprinkling has been assessed on
any lands or lots as h-rein provided, the. amount of said cost and expense
shall become a lien upon said lands or lots which shall take precedence
of all other liens and which may be foreclosed in accordance with the pro-
visions of the ",ode c 1 3ivil Procec_ure of the State of Idaho.
SECTION 6. The said sprinkling cozunittee shall ascertain the cost_ of the
proposed improvem3n fcr ?ach sprinkling season or such part thereof as
said oonmifttse may deem necessary,and said cozimiittee, together with tile

SECTION 7. Upon r-mceiving the said assessment roll,the City Clerk shall
