AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 -3 -2 OF CHAPTER 3, TITLE VII OF THE
CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL PROVIDING THAT THE SANITARY IN-
SPECTOR SHALL BE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL,
RATHER THAN THE CHIEF OF POLICE, AND PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF
ALL ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTION, OR PARTS THEREOF, IN CONFLICT WITH
THIS ORDINANCE, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE
AND ITS TAKING EFFECT.
BE IT ORDAMD By the Mayor and Council of the City of
9 Caldwell, Idaho:
10 Section 1. That Section 7 -3 -2 of Chapter 3, Title VII
11 of the City Code of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, be amended to
12 read as follows:
13 "7 -3 -2: RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY: The Chief of Police or

such other persons as may be appointed by the Mayor and Council,
shall be responsible for the enforcement of the provisions of this
Chapter and other duties as the Council may prescribe, and there
shall be designated a Sanitary Inspector, who shall enforce the
same at the direction of the Mayor and Council."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in force and
effect from and after its approval, passage and publication as
required by law.
PASSED By the Council this 4th day of November, 1968.
