AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 -1 -1 OF CHAPTER 1 OF TITLE V OF THE
CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF CALD1IELL WHEREBY THE ADOPTED BUILDING CODE
SHALL BE THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE, COPYRIGHTED BY THE INTERNATION-
AL CONFERENCE OF BUILDING OFFICIALS, BEING PARTICULARLY THE CURRENT
EDITION THEREOF, EXCEPTING ITS APPENDIX.
BE IT ORDAINED By the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That Section 5 -1 -1 of Chapter 1 of Title V

of the City Code of Caldwell, Idaho, be amended to read as follows:
"ADOPTION OF BUILDING CODE: There is hereby adopted for
the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the construc-
tion, alteration, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy,
location and maintenance of buildings and structures, that certain
building code known as the Uniform Building Code, copyrighted by
the International Conference of Building Officials, being the
current edition of the Code in print and in use by Conference
Headquarters, excepting the appendix thereof."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in force and

effect from and after its approval, passage and publication as
required by law.
