HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 11201 BILL NO. 30 211 ORDINANCE NO. 1120 BY COUNCILMAN CARPEN i AN ORDINANCE GIVING NOTICE TO ALL QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, THAT IT IS THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL TO SELL A PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF CALDWELL LOCATED IN BLOCK 2 OF INDUSTRIAL SITE ADDITION NO. TWO, CALDWELL, IDAHO, AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS ORDINANCE, WHICH SALE WILL BE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 14, TITLE 50 OF THE IDAHO CODE. 811 BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED By the Mayor and the Section 2. That the public hearing of said intention to 21 11 sell by the City Council of said real property will be considered at a meeting of the Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, to be held on the 4th day of March, 1968, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Cald- well; when and where any qualified electors of the City of Caldwell may file their petitions with the Clerk of the City of Caldwell 4`1 expressing dissatisfaction with said intended sale of said real 28 property, and at which time if any petition be filed containing the 29 names of qualified electors of the City of Caldwell in a number 30 equal to ten percent of the total votes cast for Mayor in the pre - 31 ceding City election, said intended sale will not be made until the City Council shall cause a special election to be held on the 9l Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho: 1& Section 1. Section 2.
