ORDINANCE NO. 1111
BY COUNCILMAN CARPENTER
AN ORDINANCE GIVING NOTICE TO ALL CITIZENS OF, AND OWNERS OF PRO-
PERTY IN THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, THAT AN APPLICATION HAS BEEN
PRESENTED FOR THE VACATION OF O'HARA STREET BETWEEN BLOCK 5 AND
BLOCK 6 OF MURRAY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF CALDWELL, ACCORDING TO
THE OFFICIAL PLAT THEREOF ON FILE AND OF RECORD IN THE OFFICE OF
THE COUNTY RECORDER OF CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO, AND THAT CERTAIN ALLEY
IN BLOCK 5 IN SAID MURRAY ADDITION BEING A STRIP OF LAND 8.00 FEET
IN WIDTH ON EACH SIDE OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED CENTERLINE: COM-
MENCING AT THE MIDPOINT OF THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF SAID BLOCK 5;
THENCE SOUTH 281.3 FEET TO THE MIDPOINT OF THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE
OF SAID BLOCK 5.
101 BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED By the Mayor and the
11 Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho:
121 Section 1. That an application has been presented to

MCI 16 City of Caldwell, according to the official Plat thereof on

17; file and of record in the office of the County Recorder of Canyon
181 County, Idaho, and that certain alley in Block 5 in said Murray
191! Addition being a strip of land 8.00 feet in width on each side of

e following described centerline: Commencingat the Midpoint of

2111 the North boundary line of said Block 5; thence South 281.3 feet
22, to the midpoint of the South boundary line of said Block 5.
23 Section 2. That said application will be considered
24 under a suspension of the requirements that an ordinance be read
25 on three different days at a meeting of the Council of the City of
26 Caldwell, Idaho, to be held on the 4th day of December, 1967, at
27 the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. at the Council Chambers in the City
28 Hall in the City of Caldwell; when and where, or prior to which
29 date, any citizen of the City of Caldwell or any owner of property
30 in the City of Caldwell may file with the Clerk of the City of
31 Caldwell, any claim for damages which any such citizen or owner of
32 11 property may sustain by reason of the vacation of the said property

and all claims for damages so filed will be considered and ascer-
tained by the Council of the City of Caldwell at said meeting.
Section 3. Notice of the foregoing will be given to all
citizens of, and owners of property in the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
by publication of this ordinance in the News - Tribune, a newspaper
published in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, in one issue thereof
published on November 11, 1967.
PASSED By the Council of the City of Caldwell this 6th
day of November, 1967.
