AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 -5 -3 OF CHAPTER 5 OF TITLE I OF THE
5 CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO SUBSTITUTING THE WORD "CIT
FOR THE WORD "WARD" REGARDING PLACE OF RESIDENCE OF PERSONS BEING
6 APPOINTED TO FILL VACANCIES ON THE CITY COUNCIL; AND ALSO AMENDING
PARAGRAPH (B), SECTION 1 -17 -1 OF CHAPTER 17 OF TITLE I OF THE CITY
7 CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL IDAHO, INCREASING THE ANNUAL FEE OF
MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL FROM 900.00 to $1,500.00.

9 BE IT ORDAINED By the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:

Section 1. That Section 1 -5 -3 of Chapter 5 of Title I of

the City Code of Caldwell, Idaho, be amended to read as follows:
201 "1 -17 -1: (B) Council: Each member of the Council
elected to office and in office on January 1, 1968,
21 or thereafter, shall be paid an annual sum of ONE
THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED & N01100 DOLLARS ($1,500.00)
22° to be paid in twelve (12) equal payments, one each
month, the same as other salaries or fees are paid
23 j by the City."
Section 3. All ordinances, resolutions, orders or parts
therewith, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and
annulled.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and effect
28 i1 at the next ensuing general election after its approval, passage and
publication as required by law.
PASSED By the Council this 21st day of August, 1967.
APPROVED By the Mayor this 21st day of August, 1967.

Section 2. That Paragraph (B) of Section 1 -17 -1 of Chap-

ter 17 of Title I of the City Code of Caldwell, Idaho be amended to

read as follows:
