AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 -4 -4 OF CHAPTER 4 OF TI'T'LE V OF THE
CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL WITH REGARD TO GAS INSTALLATION
IN BUILDINGS ADOPTING THE NATIONAL BOARD OF FIRE UNDERWRITERS
PAMPHLET 54 OF THE YEAR 1964 AS RECOMMENDED BY THE FIRE PROTECTION
ASSOCIATION IN LIEU OF THE PRESENT PAMPHLET 54 PRESENTLY APPLICABLE
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That Chapter 4, Title V, Section 5 -4 -4 of the
City Code of Caldwell, Idaho, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"5 -4 - GAS INSTALLATIONS IN BUILDINGS: The National

Board of Fire Underwriters Pamphlet 54, printed in book form, 1964
edition, as recommended by the National Fire Protection Association
in regulating the construction, installation and maintenance of gas
piping and gas appliances in buildings, as shown by three (3) copies
thereof now on file in the office of the Clerk, is hereby ratified

1711and adopted part of this Chapter as regulating gas piping and gas
appliances in buildings."
Section 2. All ordinances, resolutions, orders, or parts
therewith, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and
annulled.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its approval, passage and publication, as
required by law.
