ORDINANCE NO. 1063
BY COUNCILMAN CARPENTER,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 -3 -1 OF CHAPTER 3 OF TITLE V ADOPT-
ING THE 1965 EDITION OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE PUBLISHED BY
THE NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION IN LIEU OF THE 1962 EDI-
TION THEREOF.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That Chapter 3, Title V, Section 5 -3 -1 of the
City Code of Caldwell, Idaho, is hereby amended to read as follows:
" 5 -3 -1 : ADOPTION OF ELECTRICAL CODE: There is hereby

adopted for the purpose of establishing minimum standards of design,'
materials, and workmanship for all electrical installations here-
after installed, altered or repaired and to establish methods of
procedure, within the Limits of this Municipality that certain
Electrical Code known as the "National Electrical Code" published by

1711 the National Fire Protection Association, being particularly the
1965 Copyright Edition thereof, and the whole thereof, except as
amended by making insertions here below, and of which not less than
three (3) copies, including copies of said insertions, deletions,
substitutions, additions, or amendments have been and now are filed
in the office of the Clerk, and the same is hereby adopted and in-
corporated as fully as if set out at length herein."
Section 2. All ordinances, resolutions, orders, or
parts therewith, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded
and annulled.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
2811 effect from and after its approval, passage and publication, as
required by law.
