ORDINANCE NO. 1060

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 -2 -1 OF CHAPTER 2 OF TITLE V OF THE
CITY CODE OF CALDWELL ADOPTING THE 196+ EDITION OF THE UNIFORM
PLUMBING CODE PUBLISHED BY WESTERN PLUMBING OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION
IN LIEU OF THE 1958 EDITION THEREOF.
711 Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:

Section 1. That Chapter 2, Title V, Section 5 -2 -1 of the

City Code of Caldwell, Idaho, is hereby amended to read as follows:

"5 -2 -1: ADOPTION OF PLUMBING CODE: There is hereby

adopted for the purpose of establishing minimum standards of design,
13
materials, and workmanship for all plumbing hereafter installed,

altered or repaired and to establish methods of procedure within the
15
Limits of this Municipality that certain plumbing code known as the
16
" " published by the Western Plumbing Officials
Uniform Plumbing Code
17
Association, being particularly the 1964 Copyright Edition thereof
18
except as amended by making insertions, deletions, substitutions,
19
additions, or amendments, as noted herebelow, and of which not
20
less than three (3) copies, including copies of the said insertions,
21
deletions, substitutions, additions, or amendments have been and now
22
are filed in the office of the Clerk, and the same is hereby adopted
23
and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein."

Section 2. All ordinances, resolutions, orders, or
25
parts therewith, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded
26
and annulled.

Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
28
effect from and after its approval, passage and publication, as
required by law.
