4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 -1 -3 OF CHAPTER 1 OF TITLE ST.I OF
THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO,BY REDEFINING THE
5 WORD "BILLBOARD" AS PRESENTLY DEFINED IN SAID SECTION.
Bi Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of
7 Caldwell, Idaho:
9 Section 1. That Chapter 1, Title VI, Section 6 -1 -3 of
9 the City Code of Caldwell, Idaho, is hereby amended in so far as
10 the definition of "billboard" is concerned to read as follows:
11 "BILLBOARD: Any structure or portion thereof upon which
are placed posters, removable advertising material or paper material

14, pictures or lettering designed to offer services or merchandise

16 This definition does not include any bulletin boards used
17 to display official court or public office notices or church announc
meets, theatre marquees or signs attached to theatre advertising
films showing, Real Estate Office signs, with changeable metal or
plastic letters, offering property for sale or a sign advertising
the sale or lease of the premises on which the sign is located."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect on the first day after the passage and approval thereof.
