AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 10 -1 -1 OF CHAPTER 1 OF TITLE X OF THE
CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL ADOPTING THE 1965 EDITION OF THE
FIRE PREVENTION CODE AS RECOMMENDED BY THE NATIONAL BOARD OF FIRE
UNDERWRITERS IN LIEU OF THE 1960 EDITION THEREOF.

Be it ordained by the mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That Chapter 1, Title X, Section 10 -1 -1 of
the City Code of Caldwell, Idaho, is hereby amended to read as fol-
lows:
11 10 -1 -1: ADOPTION OF FIRE PREVENTION CODE: For the
purpose of regulating and governing conditions hazardous to life
and property from fire, the Fire Prevention Code, 1965 Edition,
with its intent as recommended by the National Board of Fire Under-
writers, is hereby adopted. Said Fire Prevention Code, three (3)
copies of which shall be on file at all times in the office of the
Clerk, shall be made a part of this Code as if set out at length
herein."

Section 2. All ordinances, resolutions, orders, or
parts therewith, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded
and annulled.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its approval, passage and publication, as
25 required by law.
