ORDINANCE NO. 1042
BY COUNCILMAN LUBY
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1040 OF THE CITY
OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, BY PROVIDING THAT THE BONDS F AL IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 55 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL SHALL MATURE IN THE SUM OF
$5,134.18 IN THE YEAR 1966, AND THE SUM OF $5,000.00 IN EACH OF THE
YEARS 1967 THROUGH 1972, AND $5 IN EACH OF THE YEARS 1973
THROUGH 1975, AND REPEAL THE ORDINANCE IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.

Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1040 of

the City of Caldwell, is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Section 3. That there be issued in the name of the City
11
of Caldwell, Idaho, improvement bonds of said Local Improvement
12
District No. 55, for the City of Caldwell, Idaho, in the principal
13
sum of FIFTY -ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED THIRTY -FOUR & 18/100

($51, 634.18) DOLLARS, which said bonds shall bear date the first

day of February, 1965 and shall bear interest at a rate not to

exceed six (6%) per cent per annum, payable semi - annually on the

first day of February and the first day of August each year, said

interest to be evidenced by coupons attached to said bonds. Said
19
bonds shall consist of 103 bonds in the denomination of FIVE
20
HUNDRED & NO /100 ($500.00) DOLLARS each, numbered from two (2) to
21
one hundred four (104) inclusive, and one bond in the denomination
22
of ONE HUNDRED THIRTY -FOUR & 18/100 ($134 DOLLARS, numbered one
23
(1), and the total sum and issue of said bonds hereby authorized
24
shall be payable as nearly as may be in equal annual amounts; said

bonds to mature as follows:

5,134.18 in the year 1966;
5,000.00 in each of the years 1967 through 1972;
1 5,500-00

in each of the years 1973 through 1975;

said bonds and coupons thereto attached shall be payable at the

Office of the City Treasurer of the City of Caldwell, Idaho; said

bonds shall be signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
31
and counter- signed by the City Treasurer of the City of Caldwell

and each bond shall have the corporate seal of the City of Caldwell
Idaho, affixed thereto; provided however, that all coupons shall,
in lieu of being signed, have printed thereon and shall bear the
engraved facsimile of the signature of said Mayor, City Clerk and
the City Treasurer of said City, and when so executed, shall so
constitute the binding obligation of said District for said inter-
est."

Section 2. That all ordinance or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
