4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12 -3 -3 OF CHAPTER 3, TITLE XII OF THE
CITY CODE OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, BY INCREASING THE COMPENSATION OF
5 JUDGES AND CLERKS OF ELECTION AND CONSTABLES ON DUTY AT THE POLLING
PLACES, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE FOR THIS ORDINANCE TO TAKE
6 EFFECT AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
21 shall be the sum of twenty -five cents (25¢) for each name registered."
Section 2. All ordinances, resolutions, orders, or parts
therewith, in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, rescinded and
annulled.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its approval, passage and publication, as
required by law.

Section 1. That Chapter 3, Title XII, Section 12 -3 -3 of

the City Code Of Caldwell, Idaho, is hereby amended to read as

follows:

"12 -3 -3: COMPENSATION OF ELECTION OFFICIALS: Judges and

Clerks of Election shall receive nine dollars ($9.00) each for the

period from the opening to the closing of the polls and one dollar
15
($1.00) per hour for each hour employed in election service after

the close of the polls, provided that the total compensation shall

not exceed twelve dollars ($12.00) for any one (1) election. Con-

stables on duty at polling places shall receive eight dollars ($8.

such compensation to be in full for all services regardless of the

number of hours of service. The compensation of Deputy Registrars
21 shall be the sum of twenty -five cents (25¢) for each name registered."
