ORDINANCE NO. 1027
BY COUNCILMAN VASSAR
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0, 102h OF THE CITY OF CALD-
WELL, IDAHO, IN PARTICULAR, SECTION 11 THEREOF; SAID ORDINANCE
RELATING TO THE CONFIRMATION OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.
53 OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUAN
OF INSTALLMENT BONDS OF SAID DISTRICT; PRESCRIBING THE FORM,
MATURITIES, MAXIMUM INTEREST RATE AND ALL OTHER LEGAL REQUIRE-
MENTS RELATIVE TO THE ISSUANCE OF SAID BONDS.
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, have heretofore on the 23rd day of March, 1964, duly
and regularly passed Ordinance No. 102h of the City of Caldwell,
confirming the creation and establishment of Local Improvement
District No. 53 and among other things, providing for the issu
of installment bonds of said District; prescribing the form,
maturities, maximum interest rate and all other legal require-
ments relative to the issuance of said bonds; and
WHEREAS, A typographical error appears in Section 11 of
said ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, Said Ordinance No. 10211 and in partic-
ular, Section 11 thereof, be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Section 11. That the City of Caldwell shall issue local
improvement bonds for Local Improvement District No. 53
..of said City designated as 'Local Improvement District
Bonds for Local Improvement District of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho, Series of April 1, 1964,' in the prin-
cipal amount of ONE HUNDRED FIVE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED
THIRTY -NINE & 77/100 ($105,239.77) DOLLARS, consisting
of 210 bonds in the denomination of FIVE HUNDRED($500.00)
DOLLARS each, numbered No. 2 through No. 210 inclusive
and one bond in the denomination of TWO HUNDRED THIRTY -
NINE & 77/100 ($239.77) DOLLARS, numbered No. 1, each
dated April 1, 1964 and payable to the bearer, bearing
interest at the rate of four and three fourths (4 3/4)
per cent per annum, payable semi- annually on April 1
and October 1, of each year commencing the 1st day of
October, 1964. Said bonds maturing and being numbered
and bearing interest and maturing serially in regular

Said bonds and coupons thereto attached shall be
payable at the office of the City Treasurer of
the City of Caldwell, Idaho; said bonds, shall be
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
and counter - signed by the City Treasurer of the City
of Caldwell and each bond shall have the corporate
seal of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, affixed thereto;
provided however, that all coupons shall, in lieu
of being signed, have printed thereon and shall
bear the engraved facsimile of the signature of
said Mayor, City Clerk and the City Treasurer of
said City, and when so executed, shall so constitute
the binding obligation of said District for said
interest."
IT IS FURTHER ordained and established that Ordinance
No. 20 as amended herein, is hereby ratified, approved
and confirmed in all respects.
