AN ORDINANCE AMMENDING SECTION 5 -2 -5 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, BY ADDING THERETO 'SUBDIVISION D'
PROVIDING FOR THE SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR PLUMBING INSPECTION TO
BE COMPUTED AT 1% OF THE COST NOT EXCEEDING $20,000.00 6,ND FOR
PLUMBING COSTS EXCEEDING $20,000.00 A FEE OF $200.00 PLUS 1/2
OF 1% OF THE EXCESS OVER $20,000.00, REPEAL OF ORDINANCES AND
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDE FOR THE PASSAGE OF THE ORDINANCE
AND ITS TAKING EFFECT.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CALDWELL, IDAHO, as follows:
Section 1. That Section 5 -2 -5 of the Municipal Code of
the City of Caldwell, Idaho is hereby ammended by adding thereto
the following:
"5- 2r5.'(D) COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL, OR OTHER INSTALLATIONS ":
The permit fee for plumbing costs not exceeding $20,000.00
shall be 1% of the cost to the owner. The fee for plumb -
ing costs exceeding $20,000.00 shall be $200.00 plus 1/2
of 1% of such costs exceeding $20,000.00. The fees listed
in this paragraph shall apply only to plumbing installa-
tions not otherwise provided for in this section. The
term 'plumbing cost to the owner' shall mean the cost of
all plumbing labor, plumbing materials, and equipment
installed as a part of the plumbing system.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication.
