BY COUNCILMAN SMITH
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ASSESSMENT AND LEVY OF A TAX
FOR GENERAL REVENUE PURPOSES FOR PAYING THE CURRENT EXPENSES
OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, CANYON COUNTY, IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 1963.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Canyon County, Idaho:
Section 1. That there is hereby levied upon all the tax-
able property within the City Limits of the City of Caldwell,
Canyon County, Idaho, for general revenue purposes for the
fiscal year beginning the first day of January, 1963, in
addition to other taxes heretofore levied, the following taxes
and assessments, to wit:
For the General Fund
For the Library Fund
For Fire Department Fund
24 mills on every dollar
of assessed valuation
3 mills on every dollar
of assessed valuation
2 mills on every dollar
of assessed valuation
For Street Sprinkling, Flushing
and Oiling Fund 15 mills on every dollar
of assessed valuation
For Armory Construction Fund 1 mill on every dollar
of assessed valuation
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, approval and publication.
