TSe Council mat in regular session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor M111er,presid-
1�V�'lk ing,Counoilmen Bol3.man ,'Mumford,0akes,Rowland,and YPdstcott, present and Councilman
8lmbrough absent.
S.P.Baker, a Tax payer of the City for some time, requested a small part of the
City's Iusuranoe. It wasvoted on motion of Oakes that Mr.Baker'e request be referred
to Finanoe and City Sall Committee.
C.H.Zeighty,Street Supt.,, reported that we could get gravel from the Roswell ditch
provided that we could et e
i q g way to get out from the ditch bja means of right of wM;
that we could obtain gravel gratis from Boo Helm's farm,provided the City would in a
culvert for the roadway; that the City could obtain the sand from Blook62 Footers
Addition to Caldwell, now owned by the Grand Lodge I.O.O.F. and refill the same with the
atreaV sweepings with no time limit for the same; that Florida Ave. had by reason of
Garrison's making a ditch along aide of the same and theryby throwing the dirt into
the street and Making the drain better, had caused the lve. to be in a splendid condition
6k'p for sanding. It was voted on motion of Mumford that the matter of procuring gravel
that will be needed this winter and ablo the matter of sanding Florida Ave. be left to
the Street Committee.
The written report of the Investigating Committee on the use of the City Water by the
Idsko Power Co., filed with the City Clerk, was read, It vise voted'on motion of Oakes
-that the report of the Committee be accepted.
Bill 30.9 was read for the third time and placed on it a final passage.on the questio^
shall Bill 30.9 pass? the roll being called on the same the'result was as follows;
Ape: Bollman,Miunford, Oakes, Rowland,' and IAeatcott.
Hayes and Absent; None. So the Mayor declared the Bill had passed aild now became
Ordinance #367. The Clerk was instructed to make proper entry of the same and cause the
same to bepublished in the Caldwell Tribune, the Official newepaper of the City of
Caldwell.
It wee voted on motion of Rowland that we invite the Pioneer Irrigation District
Board to meet with us in a joint session on the night of Deo.27th,I92I to discuss the
matter of the City taking over the distribution of water within the City .
It was voted on motion of Rowland that we adjourn to b-� c.2

The Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor Miller,presidin�
Councilmen, Simbrough ,Momford,Oakee,?towland, and Weatcott present, : Bollman absent.
Harry Morrison,of Morrison- Knudsen Co. requested the Pioneer Irrigation District be
asked to deliver a portion of their bonds for their share of the drainage in Sewer Dist.
#9 to the.City, who in turn should deliver the same to Morrison - Knudsen, as the latter's
[� natimates.became due.Mumford, of the Finance Committee, reported that tle.bonds of the
Pioneer Irrigation were not as yet ready for issuanoe.
{� Ira F.Sigh, of High and Fritchmaa, asked the Council for the status of *the bonds in

Sewer Dist. #9.
The matter of employing men and teams for gravelling was left to the Street Committee
and Street Superintendent.

The minutes of the meetings during Deo.192I were read and approved with the exception
Simbrough was absent when the final vote was taken on Bill NC.9.
R.S.Madden asked for cancellation of 4feet of sidewalk, also the penalty and Interest i

G.S.Little requested damages on Lots 32,33,and 34,Blook 2 Golden Gate Addition to Caldw
for the Rain Canal of Sewer #9 passing diagonally across them.Walter Qriffithe reported the
there was no damage to his property;that abasement coed be dug abovethe Sewer line; that it
be a benefit instead of a damage, as it would not require as much pipe or labor to oonneat
the Sewer when the same is done.It was voted on motion of Westoott that the report of the
Committee be approved.
C.H.Leighty,Urest Supt.. reported the Sending of the Streets was costing about a ti.5
per load spread; that in some places they were spreading one load wide and in other places
loads wide.
A oommunication from Alfred Stone.rquesting the refunding of the Weed Cutting Charge on
I6 -24 inclusive in Block 28 Wash.Eeights addition to Caldwell, was read. It was voted on mo
of Oakes that inasmuch as the weeds were out and that the tax was a just one, the refund oo
he made and that the City Clerk was instructed to notify him of the action of the Council.
I.W.Mitchall wanted the City to run the water mains outside of the City Limits to a p;
he was building on Canyon Hill, an per his communication to Bollmen. of the Water Works Cow
No action was taken on the matter, as the Council were not in favor of the same.
The City Attroney was instructed towrite J.B.Bond and demand that road and bridge on
ftnyon Hill be fixed as agreed by the Reclamation Ser vice.
It was voted on motion of Kimbrough that bills as okehed and approved be allowed and
rants drawn on the various funds follows:
