Council' met in regular session pursuant to adjournment on December 2, 1929
with Mayor MoConnel presiding and Councilmen BOLLMAN, DICKENS, GORDON, JOHNS, LEIGHTY
AND SANDMEYER, Present, Absent NM.
Owing to the absence of the City Clerk, the Mayor appointed Mr. W. Dyer
Acting Clerk, and announced that the Council was in session for the Consideration of
any business which might lawfully come before it.
L. A. Waterman made remarks in regards to drain ditoh. motion by Bollman
seaended by Dickens that a committee be appointed sonaisting of Leighty, Bollman, City
Attorney, &City Engineer , to investiggte the Drainage Ditoh proposition. Motion
carried.
Petition of Fletcher oil Company for the construction of Service Station,
VMS presented, Motion by Bollman, seconded by Sandmeyer, The time for acting on above
petition be on December 23, 1929. Motion carried.
It was 'voted on Motion of Bollman and Seconded by Digkens that Council
adjourn to DeoemVer 23, 192, at 8 :00 o'clock P.Y.

Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment from Deoedber 9, 1928
with Mayor MCConnal presiding and Councilmen BOLLMAN, DIOY2 GORDON, JOHNS and
LEIGHTY, Present, Absent SASTI&YEYER.
Owing to the absence of the City Clerk, the Ka-yor appointed Mr. W. C. Dyer
Acting Clerk, and announced that the Council was in session for the consideration of any
business which might lawfully come before it.
Motion' by Bollman seconded by Leighty, That Fletcher Oil Company be allowed
to construct Service Station ea par specifications on file with the City Clerk.
This being the time set for consideration of objections to the Assessment Roll
of Local Street .Improvement District No. 7, the Clark presented and read to the Council
Affidavit of Publication of the Notice of Filing of Assessment Roll of Local Street
Improvement District No. 7, which affidavit was and is in words and fugures as follows,

a semi - weekly newspaper published at Caldwell, Idaho; that the said paper
Is in general circulation in the County aforesaid, and has been for a period
of 78 weeks preceeding first publication of this advertisement, a copy of
r which is attached hereto, and was published in the regular edition of said
The Caldwell News- Tribune, Two consecutive weeks beginning with the issue
of Dec. 9, 1929 and ending with the issue of Dec. 16, 1929

ORDER No. 1
"All ORDER APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSI.MNT ROLL OF LOCAL STREET
IMPROVEIMVT DISTRICT NO. 7, ON THE REASSESS10NT OF BENEFITS.
It appearing to the Council that the assessment roll of Local Street Improvement
District No. 7. for the City of Caldwell, Idaho, for the reassessment of benefits in -
said district has been certified by the Committee on Streets of the City of Caldwell,
and was filed in the office of the City Clark of the City of Caldwell, State of Idaho,
on the 2nd day of December, 1929, and is now on file in said office; and
IT. APPEARING that the 23rd day of December, 1929, at 8;00 o'clock P.M. at the
Counail Chambers in the City Roll of said City, was Pined by the Counoll as the time
and place for hearing and considering objections to said assessment roll; and
IT FURTHER APPEARING, that the time for filing protests having eapired,'and the
time for hearing and considering the same having arri®dd, and no protests having been
filed the said Assessment Roll having been fully and duly considered by the Mayor and
Council of the City of Caldwell, and having been found legal, valid, correct, fair
and just and in compliance with the laws of the State of Idaho, and the Ordinanceb
03 the City of Caldwell, in all particulars; now, therefore, it is hereby
ORDERED, by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho:
Section 1. That the Assessment Roll of Local Street Improvement District No. 7,
for the City of Caldwell, County of Canyon, State of Idaho, for the reassessment e
benefits in said district, be, and the same is hereby approved and confirmed.
Soo. 2. That the said Assessment Roll be placed in the hands of the City
Treasurer for collection, and that due notice of the time, place and manner of making
cash payments of the assessments contained in said assessment roll be given in the
manner providbd b7 the laws of the State of Idaho, and the Ordinances of the City of
Caldwell.
