A Special Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room with the Mayor, FI i �I I Edgar L. Oakes, presiding, on Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present; W.g.Babeock, C. 0 McD nnel, Oscar Stengel, T.B. FTandford, C. M. Fenrich and M. S.Sandmeyer. Stewart Maxey ralyneared dm behalf of property owners on Chicago and nel -ont Streets and presented a petition concerning a dwelling moved on lot at 623 Chicago St., in eBa -Zone. The mayor Instructed the Btil.ding Inspector to contact the owner of this dwelling regerdir;g its removal from seid'lotj'arrd, also, informed Mr. Maxey if an agree- ment could not be reached with the onnor the City would take the necessary steps to have the lot vacated. Mr. . °endmeyer and Mr. Eush reported that The Sperry crocery Store refused to remove the Noon sign at 1601 Cleveland. The Mayor instructed Mr. Rush and the City Attorney to investigate this matter. - .
