Voted, on motion of Steunenberg that Prof. W. J. Boone be employed to make a detailed, comprehensive investigation of the electric light ftanbhisea and lighting questions and report at his earliest convenience. Voted, on motion of Adame, that the Council adjourn until Monday, December 18, 1911, at 7&30 p. m. �Otv I Clerk. Monday evening, December 18 19 Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor Griffiths presiding, and Councilmen Adam, Adama, Bardaley, Steunenberg, Walker, Zeh, present; Shorb, Clerk. The following claims, were, on motion of Zeh, allowed, and warrants ordered drawn on the several funds as follows& GENIMAT. FUND& H. E. Wallace, Salary Attorneyi. 450.00 Mario Martin, Salary Treasurer, 25.00 9PRINSLING FUNDt F. L. Seller, Sprinkling. 52.50 The action of the Libreyy Comml)tee ordering drawn two warrants in favor of I 1—v Madden & Badley in the sum of #300.00 for lots 4 and 5 of Block 18, for library site, was, on motion of Zeh, approved. Voted, on motion of Adam, that the street committee be instructed to notify Frank Parker to put in at once the walk before his property on South Kimball-Avenue, and that if the same were not in by January 1, 1912. the city would take the necessary steps to put the same in. A motion was made by Adam, that Perry Groves, acting as special watchman for the merchants, be sworn in with same authority as other city officers. Voted, on motion of Adams, that Council adjourn until Friday evening, December 22, 1911, at 7930 o'clock. City Clerk;
