M. 1 1 0 =00il met in regular session persuant adjournment of Dee. b6, 1927, with Mayor Dunlap presiding, and the following Councilmen present; DAVIS, DUTTON, HOFFMAN, JACKSON, MCCONNEL AND MUMFORD. Bill No. 11 by Mumford, entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF AN ASSISTANT TO THE CITY TREASURER TO BE KNOWN AS 'DEPUTY THREASURER'; FIXING HIS COMPEN- SATION AND PROVIDING FOR BOND; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES, IN CONFLICT HEREWITH: was read first time in full. A motion was made by Jackson, seconded by Mcdonnel, that the rules be suspended requiring a bibl to be read on three seperate days, and that the bill to be read the second time by title, third time in full and placed On its final passage. The Mayor directed the ®lark to call the roll with the following result: AYES: DAVIS DUTTON, HOFFMAN, JACKSON, MCCONNEL AND MUMFORD. 11AYES: NONE. The Mayor declared the motion carried. Bill No. 11 was read second time by title, third time in full section by section and placed on its final passage, and on the question ae put by the Mayor, Shall Bill No. 11 pass? the Clerk was directed to call the roll with the following result; AYES: DAVIS, DUTTON, ROFFMAN, JACKSON, MCCONNEL AND MUMFORD. NAYES: NONE. Whereupon, the Mayor declared that Bill No. 11 had passed and now became Ordinance No. 447, and approved same in open session, directed the dlerk to make proppv:.entry of same and cause it to me published in the Caldwell Tribune the official Newspaper for the Oity of Caldwell. The Mayor Pppointed Mrs. Josephine Remshaw as Deputy Treasurer. It was voted on motion of MoConnel, seconded by Jackson, that the appointment of Mrs. Josephine Ramehaw as Deputy Treasurer be confirmed. T. A. King appeared before the Gounoil asking permission to install a Gasoline Pump for Billing Station on the North Kimball Highway. It was decided that the present Building Ordinance did not permit such filling station, and the Gity Attorney was in- struoted to draw an ordinance amending such section as to permit installing such a station in restricted districts. It was voted on motion of Jackson, seconded by Davds, that the following bill as approved be allowed, and warrants be drawn of the various funds to -wit; GENERAL No. llama For what Amount 091 Pioneer Irr.
