On Roll Call the following Councilman answered present: Leo J. Mason, I" Glaisyer, L. E. Burrell,'i
Dale Fenrich, John Myers and Bryan Harding.
Thereupon Councilman Myers Lntroduced Bill No 17, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE 140. 702 OF THE CITY OF CALDI:.ELL, IDAHO, CHANGING THE r
LICENSE FEES TO BE PAID YOR LICENSES TO OPEFATE THE VARIOUS OPERATED AMUSEMENT DEVICES IN THE CITY OF CALD—
WELL, IDAHO.
which was read for the first time and the Council proceeded to a consideration of Bill No 17.
Thereupon Councilman Glaisyer introduced Bill No 18, entitled:
AN ORDINANCE LICENSING, REGULATING, AND CONTROLLING THE OPERATION OF PUNCH BOAFDS AND CHANCE
,SPINDLE GAZES IN THE CITY OF CALUTIELL, IDAHO, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 704 IN SO YAP. AS IT PERTAINS TO
LICENSING AND OPERATING PUNCH BOARDS AND CHANCE SPINDLE GAMES IN THE CITY OF' CALSNIELL, IDAHO,
which was read for the first time and the Council proceeded to a consideration of Bill No 18.
Moved by Mason, seconded by Burrell that the Mayor and Road Chairman be authorised to act accord-
ing to their judgement in regards to the contract with the B & W Construction Co., for the crushing of grave

On Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Burrell,
seconded by Councilman Myers that Council adjourn. Motion carried. i

The Council met pursuant to Call and Acknowledgement of Notice in the following form:
We, the undersigned, Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do
each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City Council to be held at the council chambers
in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho at the hour of 8 :00 P. M., on the 15th day of December, 1947,1 ,
for the transaction of all business in connection with the following objects: Second reading of Bill No
17 and Bill No 18 introduction of Bill No 19, which object has been submitted to each of the undersigned
in writing.

A representative of James � Hurd was present and discussed plans for a rock crusher.
The Mayor appointed Councilmen Herding, Mason and Burrell to investigate plans for a rock crusher.�
This being the time set for the second reading of Bill No 17, it was moved by Burrell, seconded
by Glaisyer that the rilesmquiring that the reading of a Bill on three separate days be suspended and that ,I
Bill No 17, be read the second time by title and the third time in full a ection by section and placed on
the final passage. The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll on the above motion with the following
resaltt Those voting in the affirmative were: Mason, Glaisyer, Burrell, Myers, Harding and Fenrich.
Negative: None. Absent and not voting: None. The Mayor declared the motion had passed by the necessary
three - fourths majority and directed the Clerk to read Bill No 17, the second time by title and the third
time in full section by section. The Clerk read the Bill as directed. The question being "Shall Bill
No 17 pass ?" The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roil on the above question which resulted as follcwsj
Those voting in the affirmative were: Mason, Olaisyer, Burrell, Myers, Fenrich and Harding. Negative: j
None. Absent and not voting: None.
Thereupon the Mayor declared Bill No 17, had passed and the Mayor in opens ession of the Council
duly signed and approved the Bill, and the Clerk duly signed and attested the same which became Ordinance
No 719. The Mayor directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same and to cause Ordinance No 719, to
be published in the Caldwell News - Tribune the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
