A motion wan made by Paynter that t.beclaim of Mrs. Nellie Williams be allowed
in the sum of 010.00. The roll being called on the motion, the vote resulted:

Nays - -0. Absent -- Farrar. So the motion prevailed.
A motion was male by Clark that the claim of F. L. Keller be allowed in the
sum of tao.10. The roll being called on the motion, the mte resulted:

A moticn wa - s made by Clark that Warrant No. ?55 payable to Gordon °i Adams
on the Road Fund be rrancelled, and that a warrant for that amount be drawn on the
general Fund. The roll h,eln�: called on the motion, the vote resulted:

Nays - -0. Absent -- Farrar. So the motion prevailed.

The matter of rebate on Thomas Norris' taxes for fill was referred to Street
Committee to report naxt Monday evening.
Petition of H. N. Dorman, et al, praying that "a public road be established
in said City, twenty -five feet in width 1-awing its point of beginning and t.•armination,
course and intermediate points as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Section 33 in Twp. 4, north of Range
3 west H. M., in the City of Caldwell, Canyon County, State of Idaho, and from thence
extending south(25 feet in width, on the east side of the seotion line), along the
east side of said section line a -distance of one mile to the southwest corner of said
Section 33."
and that a public road keretofore ��stablishad in said City and Council 50 feet in width
and having its points of beginning and termination, course and interme.11ata points as
follows:
Corunencing at the southwest corner of the nortlr,aast quarter of the northwest
quarter of Section 33 in Twp. 4, N. R. 3 W. R. M. ( and being 50 faet in width on the
north side of said line) , and from tl,ence e- tending east on the north side of and along
the south line of said quarter - quarter a tistancq of forty rode „ be abandoned and the
property reverted to the owner of the tract of wlA ch the same is a part.
Said road is no longer useful for any purpose after the establishment of the
road proposed by the accompanying petition ".

Petition of D. M. Shuse, et al, praying that an ordinance be passed dlrectng
the laying of a three foot walk alog the west side of Kimball Avenue, commencing at the
point where the present one Is now located, at tie corer of lie property of Ed. Meek, and
continuing south one -half mile and 80 feet, was read and a motion was made by Paynts
tk:at the petition be granted and an ordinance be drafted by the City Attorney covering

The Clerk wa,•4 lostructed to pay the taxes due to the Pioneer irrigation DiArict.
A motion was wade by Clark that the claim of F. 1,. Keller, rut in the sum of
$60.00, be allowed in full and a warrant for the same be drawn on the Road Fund, and
that the Street Committee take up the matter of sweeping the streete, with Mr. Keller
and make a definite contract with him. The roll being called on the motion, the vote
resulteda

The time cumin, on for opanini; the bids for digging the trench and laying the
pipe from the city stand pipe to the Canyon Hill Cemetery, the following bids were
opsneda
For •iiSeing trench, hauling pipe, laying same and back Pilling, L. A. Goldsmith
bid 14 cents per• linerel foot.
For carne, Fred 7cKinley and D. N. Sheway bid 8 1/2 cents per lineal foot.
For dioving the trench, Chas. M. Milliner bid 5 1, /4 cents per lineal foot.
A motion was made by Clark ti-at the, bid of McKinley and Shewey be accepted
and that the contract be awarded to them and that the Clerk be instructed to return 8e
certified checks. The roll being called on the motion, the vote resulted:
Ayes -- Clark, Gartin, Harris, paynter - -4.
Nays - -0. Absent -- Devers, Farrar -u. So the motion prevailed.
A motion was made by Clark that the claim of Geo. W. Stovel filed April 30,
and disallowed Jult1 15, in the sum of ;F ?0.00 for preparing road poll tax be allowed.
The roll being called on the motion, the vote resulteda
Ayes -- Clark, Gartin, Harris, Paynter--4,
Prays - -0, Absent -- Devers, Farrar -- -2. So the motion prevailed.
A motion was made by Clark that warrants No. X60, 361, and 362 in the sum of
$428.58 and drawn on the General fund be cancelled, and that Warrant No. 360 be redrawn
on the General Fund in the sum of $151.63. 'Floe roll being called on the motion, the
vote resulted:
Ayes -- Clark, Gartin, Harris, Paynter -- -4.
Nays--0. Absent -- Devers, Farrar - -2. So tee motion pre-,,ailed.

Voted, on motion of Gartin, that Council adjourn until Monday, Tecember
19, 1910, at 7e30 p, m.
Monday, December 19, 1910. Council met, in regular session pursuant to
ad,journurent with Mayor Gowen presiding, and Councilmen Devers, Farrar, Gartin, Paynter,
present; O..T.Shorb, Clark.
The matter of opening and closing certain roads for which a petition was
filed at the last regular meeting and the matter, considered by the City Engineer and
Street Committee, it was reported that the road is already a laid out street, where-
upon a motion visa made by Dever: that the petition be granted as prayed for and that
the Street Committee be instructed to have the road opened according to plat. The
roll being called on the motion, the vote resulted:
Ayea-- Dever:, Farrar, Cartin, Paynter - -4.
Nays. - -0. Absent -- Clark, Harris - -2. So the motion prevailed.
F. F. Harth,rong rnade verbal. �stition for a Groaning at Fifteenth Avenue
and Everett Street.
M. 11. Robertson makes verbal petition asking that Indian Creek be so
changed as to prevent damage to sidewalks an,larproach to bridge at Fifth Avenue. The
matter was referred to the City Engineer and Street Committee to have the same fixed.
A motion was made by Farrar that the City Clerk be instructed to draw a
warrant on the Water Works Fxtension Fund in the sum of $1757.52 in payment of two
oars of freight for stand pipe, and tLe Clerk is rurther instructed to dra,r warrants
on the Seater Works Extension Fund to pay for the two cars yet to come when the
freight bills for the same are presented. The roll being called on the motion, the
vote resulted:

Nays - -0. Absent -- .Clark, Harris . So the motion prevailed.
The Cemetery Committee and the City Attorney were instructed to procure
right -of -way over lar the pipe_ line bet the city stand pipe and the Canyon
Hill Cemetery.
