It was voted on motion of MoOonnel, seconded by Hoffman,

granted, and the Clerk was instructed to issue said license.
It was voted on motion of button, seconded by uavis, that Council adjourn to

Council met in regular session persuant to adlournment of Deoember 3, 1928,
with Mayor Dunlap presiding and Councilmen DAVIS,DUTTON, HOFFMAN, JAOff50N, MCOONNEL
AND =ORD, PRESENT. ABSENT: NONE.
The mayor appointed T. N. Dryden as Night Policemen, at a

month. It was voted on motion of Dutton. seconded by Hoffman, that
the appointment of
T. N. Dryden as Night Polioement be confirmed.
E. H. Plowhead, W. T. Kimbrough, n. D. Hanna and ay. H. Redway,

representing the American 3ed Cross, asking that the city take care of the rent of their
room amounting to 460.00 per month. The mater was taken under consideration.
BILL NO. 26, BY JACKSON, eFas presented, .ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AN
AIRPORT 001 FOR CALDWELL MUNICIPAL AIRPORT; PERSCRIBING THE MEMBERSHIP, POWERS AND
DUTIES OF SAID COMMISSION PROVIDING FOR RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING SAID AIRPORT;
MAKING TIM VIOLATION OF ANY OF SAID 3ULES AND REGULATIOIIS A MISDM.=NOR AND PERSCRIBING
A PENALTY OF SAIb VIOLATIONS ", was read the first time in fall.

NAPES: NONE. Thereupon the mayor declared the motion carried. The Clerk read Bill
No. 26 second time by title, third time in full and placed on its final passage. On
the question as but by the Mayor "Shall Hill Ac. 26 pass"? The Mayor directed the Clark
to call the roll'with the following result.
AYES: DAVIS, DUTTON, HEFFMAN, JACKSON, MCCONNEL AND MUMFORD.
NAYES: NONE. Thereupon the .:layor declared the motion carried end Bill No. 26 now
became Ordinance Ao. 461. The Mayor and Clark wigned and approved same and the Clerk
was directed to cause same to be published in the Caldwell News- Tribune the off sal news-
paper for the City of Caldwell. Idaho, and be recorded in the Book of Ordinances.
BILL NO. 25, BY MCCONNEL, ENTITELED " AN ORDINANCE GRANTING 'A FRANCHISE TO THE
OREGON SHORT LINE RAILROAD COMPANY, A CORPORATION, OVER AND ACROSS CERTAIN STREETS IN THE
CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, t'OR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING AND OPERATING A STANDARD GAUGE
RAILWAY OPERATED BY STEAM OR OTHER MOTIVE POWER ", was read the first time.

first time.
The Clerk was instructed to write a letter to the Gem State Transit Company and
Blue Line Bus Company, advising them that on and after December 17th, 1928, parking on
Main Street and Seventh Street would not be permitted.
It wee voted on motion of Jackson, seconded by Dutton, that Council adjourn to
December 12, 1928, at 10:00, A. 11;
