COUNCIL CHAMBERS,
December 9, 1929,
8:00 P.M.
council, met in regular session pursuant to adjournment on December 2, 1929
with Mayor McConnel presiding and Councilmen BOLLMAN, DICKENS,, CORDON, JOHNS, LEIGHTY
AND SANDMEYER, Present, Absent NOE.
Owing to the absence of the City Clerk, the Mayor appointed Mr. W. 0. Dyer
Acting Clerk, and aanounced that the Council was in session for the consideration of
any business which might lawfully come before it.
L. A. Waterman made remarks in regards to drain ditoh. Motion by Bollmah
seconded by Dickens that a committee be appointed sonsisting of Leighty, Bollm'an, City
Attorney,&City Engineer , to investig®te the Drainage Ditch proposition. notion
carried.
petition 'of Fletcher Oil Company for the construction of Service station,
was presented, hPotion by Bollman, seconded by Sandmeyer, The time for acting on above
petition be on December 23, 1929. Motion carried.
It was voted on Motion of Bollman and Seconded by Diqkens that Council
adjourn to December 23, 192, at 8:00 o'clock P.M.

Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment from Deoember 9, 1928
with Mayor BaConnel presiding and councilmen BOI7.M'[AN, DIOR-21IS, GORDON, JOHNS and
LEIGHTY, present, Absent SANDP,IEYER.
Owing t the absence of the City Clerk, the Mayor appointed Pair. W. C. Dyer
Acting Clerk, and announced that the Council was in session for the consideration of any
business which might lawfully come before it.
Notion' by Bollman seconded by Leighty, That Pletcher Oil Company be allowed
to construct Service Station as, per specifications on file with the City Clerk.
This being the time set for coneider ^tion of objections to the Assessment Roll
of Local Street .Improvement District No. 7 the Clerk presented and read to the Council
Affidavit of Publication of the Notice of Filing of Assessment Roll of Local Street
Improvement District No. 7, which affidavit was and is in words and fugures as follows,

of CALDWELL PUBLISHING COMPANY, publisher of The Caldwell Yews said paper
a semi - weekly newspaper published at Caldwell,
is in general oirculation in the County aforesaid, and has been for a period
of 78 weeks preceeding first publication of this advertisement, a copy of
r which is attached hereto, and was published in the regular edition of said
The Caldwell News - Tribune, Two consecutive weeks beginning with the issue
of Dec. 9, 1929 and ending with the issue of Dec. 16, 19
