The IScyor informed the Council that this me -ting was called to take up the
matter of the payment of the sewer Fm d water pipe lines to the Ida',.o Bent Producers.
- hereupon Councilmen "unford presented the following preamble and resolution anc
moved the adoption thereof which motion was duly seconded by Councilman Babcock.

RESOLUTION.
=RAS, there is due to the Concrete Pipe Co., for the manufacturing of pipe to
be used in the s ewer line to the Idaho Most Producers Association in the sum of $ 593,60,

WHEREAS, The Idaho Pleat Producers Association is willing to pay to the Caldwell
Concrete Pipe Company, one -half of said sum and the other one -half to be paid by the City
of Caldwell,
NOW, THEMEFORE EF IT.RESOLs-ED, that the City of Caldwell upon the Idaho 4+ieat
Producers Association paying direct to the Caldwell Concrete Pipe Co., one -half of said
sum of money and the said City of Caldwell upon a proper claim presented will pay the re-
msining one -half,
A Yea and Hey vote was had thereon with the following result:
Yea: Oakes, Mumford, Fenrich, Boynton, Babcock and Hinds,
Nay: None:
Absent and not voting: Mons.
Thereupon the P,?ayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution duly adopted.
Yhereupon Councilman Mumford presented the following preamble andtresolution
and moved the adoption thereof which motion was duly seconded by Councilman Oakes.
RESOLUTION,
WHEREAS, it appears that it is necessary and beneficial to the "ity of Caldwell
and the inhabitants thereof that the sewer line between Albany Street and Belmont Street
be extended from the east side of.15th,, Ave., and to the center line of 16th., Ave., with
15 inch pipe, a distance of 336 feet, thence northeasterly along the center line of 16th.,
Ave., with ten inch concrete pipe 335 feet and two manholes to be co along the ex-
ten'ed course and it farther appearing that it is necessary to extend the water mains from
Chicago Street along the v, side of 16th „ Ave., to i'lbany Street, and,
WHEREAS, The Ida? -o T.1eat Producers Association are willing to pay a portion of
the cost of extending of said sewer and manholes in the s_ that he would receive under
his contract for the remainder of the cost of the,extention of said sewer line, The Idoro
Meat Producers Association, are willing to pay one -half of the contract cost for the ex-
tention of the said water pipe line.
PIOW, THMREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that upon construction, J. H. P4cKee1 pay to the
persons entitled thereto that portion of the cost of said sewer line that he would re-
ceive under his contract for the construction of said sevaer line to the Idaho Pleat Producei
and upon the said Td ^;'.o Most Producers Association paying the parties entitled thereto one-
half.of the remainder of the cost of the extention of said sewer line the said City of
Caldwell will pay the other one -half thereof and,
BE IT °URTMTR RFSOL'T.D upon the Idaho I:ea.t Producers Association paying to the
parties entitled thereto one -half of the cost of the construction of said water Mize line
the City of Caldwell shall aa- the other one -half thereof except tlat the said City of
Caldwell shall furnish the pipe necessary for said extention.
A Yea and Nay vote was hid thereon with the following result:
Yea; Oakes, Mumford, Fenrich, Boynton, Babcock end Hinds.
Nay: None.
Absent and not votin.: None.
Thereupon the Mayor declared the motion married and the Resolution duly adopted.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by
Boynton, seconded by Fenrich, that 'ouncil adjourn to meet Decomber 19th., at 0:00 o'clock.
