The Council met in _egular session, Monday, Dedember 9th at 8 P.M. with MKFor Saley,
Iregiding,
Councilmen, Conley, Dutton, Kirnbrough, Mumford, McConnel, and Wheeler, present.
T.A.Waltars appeared Before the Council and requested the reserving of all of Block 58
Ln the
Cemtery for the Caldwell Lodge of Elks No. 1448 B.P.p.E.. In this connection the following
Sol-
ution No. 14, by Conley was pr@santred and read and upon the motion of Wheeler, seconded by
Kimbrough,
and unanimously carried, the same was adopted;

A RESOLUTION DEDICATING AND SETTING ASIDE CERTAIN LOTS IN CANYON HILL CEMETERY FOR T

Be it Resolved by the MEvor and Council of the Oity of Caldwell,Idahoi
WHEREAS, pursuant to -. esolution No. 7 passed and apporved on the 5th day of May,1924, t
e Mayor
and City Council set aside and dedicated for burial pupposes of the members ibf Caldwell Lod
1448, B.P.O.E., all of Block 55, except Lote 1 to 5 thereof, In Canyon Hill Cemetery, in s
a No.

City; and,
WHEREAS, Caldwell Lodge No.1448, B.P.O.E., has applied for the dedication to said Lodge
f
additional lots in said cemetery,00nsisting of Lots I to 30 in Block 58 thereof, and have rade
application that Lots 6 to 30 in Block 55, aforesaid, be planed ilnder the perpetual oar@ a
ea;
therefore, be it ae
RESOLVED,that the application of Caldwell Ledge No. 1448 B.P.O.E., for the purchase of
Lots:
1 to 30, Block 58, CR' yon Hill Cemetery, be accepted and the Mayor and Clerk be, abd they ale
hereby
authorized and directed to eweeute a cerpifieate of conveyance thereof upon reoeipt of the
I
purchase price, in conformity with the provisions of Ordinance No. 211 of the City of Caldw
1;
and be it further,
RB80LVED that lots 6 to 30 i&olujk4ve, of Block 55 Hill cemetery be, and they hereby
are added to the perpetual care area in said cemetery.

Auctioneers.
Bill No. 14 was read for the second time.
The City Clerk announced that Mr.Titus of the O.S.L.R.R.Co. had sent in an oral requea
for
the renewing of the Contract between the City of Caldwell, Idaho and the O.S.L.R.R. Co, fort
ro
years for city i(%ter. It was voted on motion of Eimbrough, seconded by Conley, that.the May

Council renew the contract with the O.S.L.R.R. Co. for a period of two years under the same
arms
as tlM contract now in force calls for.
It was voted on motion of Conley, seconded by Mumford, that the salary of Fred Roes be
ixed
at 0135. 00 per month to date from Nov. 1st, 1925, and to continue at that rate,iuitil such t
me as
it will be tenninato3 by the Mayor and City Council.
It was voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Wheeler, that M000nnel and Porter be ap
ointed
of two with power to act in oonferrring with the Pioneer Irrigation District on matters pert Lining
to the draining of the Memorial Park.
It was voted on motio» of Kimbrough, seconded by MoConnsl,thnt the City Attorney be auth
to start Foreolcanre proceedings against the particular lots in New Home Addition, on Vhich

Sidewalk Assessments had not been paid.
The minutes of the November meetings were read ad upon motion of Mumford, seconded by Me
onnel,
and luienimoualy sa@ried, the same were approved.
It was voted on motion of McConnel, seconded by Wheeler, that matter of Fdre Coate, be
to the Mayor and Fire Committeemen, Kimbrough, with power to act.
It was.voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Wheeler, that the Banks be required
to put .up additional security for Bank "eposits.
It was voted on motion of Wheeler, seconded by Mc�;onnel,that the following bills as
approved be allowed and warrants ordered drawn on the various funds as follows;
