Roxy Theater Building
Moved by Council Smith, seconded by Councilman Shorb, Grover Knipit be instructed to present
to the Council a workable contract for the repair of the Foxy Theater building within two weeks or the
property be sold by the City.
Upon Roll Call it aoneared the motion was unanimously carried.
I =ase Curtis Park
The City Attorney was instructed to prepare a lease between the City of Caldwell and Dale Haill
for the leasing of Curtis Park.

j Patching Machine
Councilman Finley informed the Council a patching machine was needed by the Street Department;
the cost would be approximately $1670 and __eeuested the City to authorize the purchase of this machine
without calling for bids as thin latching machine was only handled by one firm.
Moved by Councilman Finley, seconded by Councilman Shorb authorization be given for the purchas
of a patching machine.
Upon Roll Call it anoeared the motion was unanimously carried.

The Council ^i ^cussed a tentative acreement between Canyon County, City of Ma�-oa, City of
Caldwell for the hiring of a Sanitarian.
No action was taken at this time.

Mayor Simmerman reported the resignat of Bill Korns as Golf Pro.
Mayor Simmerman discussed fire, theft and collision for certain city owned cars.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by wouncilman Smith,
seconded by Councilman Luby that Council adjourn. [Motion carried.

Report Councilman Shorb
Councilman Shorb recoxzended a pedestrian and bicycle path on 11orth Illinois whero it crosoes
Canyon Hill, also the old building at the foot of the hill should be removed.
