':ozior� ee ^tied. a Ma- or C Clerk i COUNCIL CHAMBERS, DECEMBER 4, 1933. 8:00 P. M. The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room of the City Hall, with the Mayor, Emery L. Vassar presiding, On Roll Call, the follovd ng Councilmen answered present: Edgar L. Oakes, W. S. Boynton, C. E. Bales, G. w. Montgomery, G. M. Fenrich and W. R. Hollingsworth.' The Minutes of November 6th, and 9th, were read and approved as read with a few corrections. A Petition, with seventy -eight signers, was read opposing the tax.of $10.00 i on milk cows. Mr. King appeared before the Council and asked that more dirt be placed over the pipe line from Linden to Illinois. Mr. R. K. Beatty was asked to investigate this matter. L. R. Deal made application for taxi drivers license. Moved by Montgomery and seconded by Fenrieh that this license be granted. Motion carried. Mr. T. H. Lowell appeared before the Oouncil and asked that drainage be put in from the 0. of I. Stadium to connect with Dralaage_No..11; below the High School. Mrs. Hayman gave a very interesting talk regarding this drainage. The Clerk read three AffidaTita .Or Publication. Thereupon Councilman Edgar L. Oakes introduced Bill No. ,6 entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION TWELVE OF ORDINANCE NO. 376, OF THE.CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR THE LICHNSE OF CIRCUS, MENAGERIE AND SIDE SHOWS, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE. which was read for the first time and the Council proceeded to a consideration of Bill No �. . The City Attorney asked that a warrant be issued to cover the filing fees in �? the Butlin Case. Motion by bakes seconded by Montgomery that the City Clerk be authorized to Issue a warrant for five dollars to cover the filing fees in the Butlin Case. Motion carried. The Mayor appointed Oakes and Boynton to find out from the Idaho Power Company the cost of installing a street light on the corner of Ohio and College _venue. The Bills for November were read and on motion by Bales and seconded by Montgomery that these bills be allowed and Warrants be ordered drawn for the various amounts, all of which had been approved by the Chairman of the finance Committee.
